Your Steps Tracker (“we”, “us”, “the App”) is a fitness and wellness application that helps you track steps, workouts, sleep, goals, and optional social features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Account data: email address, name, optional phone, city, profile photo, and authentication provider (email, Apple, or Google).
Profile & goals: height, weight, gender, birth year/date, daily goals, and preferences you set.
Activity & health metrics: steps, distance, calories, active minutes, floors, streaks, workout sessions (including optional GPS route points), sleep entries, and related progress statistics.
Device & app data: device push token (when notifications are enabled), language, theme, and app settings.
Support communications: messages you send to uu36548@gmail.com.
If you grant permission, Your Steps Tracker may read health and fitness data from Apple Health / HealthKit and Apple Watch (for example step count, distance, energy burned, workouts, and sleep). HealthKit data is used only to display your activity in the App, sync progress you choose, and personalize goals.
We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing.
We do not sell HealthKit data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Your Steps Tracker. After revocation we stop reading new HealthKit data.
Motion & Fitness: used to estimate steps and activity when enabled.
Location: used only during workouts you start, to show a live route and save route history you create. Location is not used for advertising.
Camera / Photo Library: used only if you choose to add a profile or challenge photo.
Notifications: used for reminders and updates you enable in settings.
We use your information to: provide and sync your account and activity; show goals, progress, achievements, and insights; enable optional friends, challenges, and leaderboards based on your sharing settings; send optional local or push notifications you turn on; improve reliability and fix bugs; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
Friends, challenges, and leaderboards may show your display name, avatar, and activity metrics only if you enable sharing options (for example “Share activity with friends” or leaderboard visibility). You can change these settings at any time.
Service providers may process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics for app stability, push delivery). They are allowed to process data only to provide those services.
Data may be stored on your device and on our servers to provide sync. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We retain account and activity data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consents. In the App you can update profile data, change sharing and notification settings, disconnect Health sources, and delete your account in Settings / Profile.

Your Steps Tracker is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
If you use the App from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws. We take steps appropriate to the context of the transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy, unless applicable law requires additional consent.
